My approach to counselling is part who I am, the experiences that have shaped me, and my formal training.
Who I Am
My passion is people. First and foremost.
I enjoy learning from and teaching others. I don't judge and am open to work with everyone regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or culture.
Professional Designation
I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (M.A.) and I am a member (R.C.C.) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Professional Training
In addition to my M.A. in Counselling Psych, I am always in the process of growing as a counsellor. One way that I do that is regular "upgrades" with new therapies and keeping up with current research.
Experiences That Shape Me
I've been a few places on this wonderful planet of ours (and not done yet)! And had a lot of incredible experiences to accompany the journey. But there have been some dark times too.
